Il a effectu\u00e9 un stage aupr\u00e8s d'un cabinet d'experts-comptables du Qu\u00e9bec en vue d'obtenir le titre de CPA et a ensuite occup\u00e9 le poste de contr\u00f4leur financier pour une filiale du Canadien Pacifique, o\u00f9 il s'est \u00e9lev\u00e9 au rang de vice-pr\u00e9sident adjoint et tr\u00e9sorier. Au cours de son mandat chez CP consulting, Allan a acquis de l'exp\u00e9rience dans les domaines du transport, des t\u00e9l\u00e9communications, de l'h\u00f4tellerie et de la gestion des ressources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En 1991, Allan a rejoint AGAT Laboratories, o\u00f9 il a ensuite occup\u00e9 plusieurs postes de direction et d'encadrement, dont celui de PDG, avant d'\u00eatre nomm\u00e9 au conseil d'administration d'AGAT. Ses d\u00e9cennies d'exp\u00e9rience et son travail d'\u00e9quipe ont contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 faire d'AGAT un laboratoire d'analyse canadien diversifi\u00e9, dot\u00e9 de multiples divisions scientifiques et technologiques. La supervision financi\u00e8re d'Allan a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9terminante pour assurer un leadership solide pendant les strat\u00e9gies de croissance et de diversification d'AGAT. Au fil des ans, Allan a jou\u00e9 un r\u00f4le cl\u00e9 dans le d\u00e9veloppement des syst\u00e8mes de comptabilit\u00e9 et d'information d'AGAT et de son syst\u00e8me de gestion de l'information de laboratoire, \u00e9troitement li\u00e9, qui dirige tous les processus et flux de travail dans les op\u00e9rations de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 jusqu'\u00e0 ce jour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fervent d\u00e9fenseur de l'excellence canadienne en mati\u00e8re de science et de technologie ainsi que de l'ouverture aux communaut\u00e9s, Allan a, au cours de son mandat chez AGAT, consacr\u00e9 la gestion \u00e9conomique des laboratoires AGAT ainsi que les valeurs fondamentales du r\u00e9investissement dans les communaut\u00e9s \u00e0 travers le Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En tant que b\u00e9n\u00e9vole au Tom Baker Cancer Centre, Allan a contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 apporter du r\u00e9confort et de l'espoir aux patients et aux familles qui suivent des traitements.
