{"id":2503,"date":"2021-07-16T17:42:00","date_gmt":"2021-07-16T17:42:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/agatfoundation.wpengine.com\/?p=2503"},"modified":"2025-11-21T16:29:21","modified_gmt":"2025-11-21T16:29:21","slug":"le-gouvernement-de-lalberta-engage-18-millions-deuros-pour-un-cyclotron-radiopharmaceutique-calgary","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.agatfoundation.com\/fr\/alberta-government-commits-18-million-cyclotron-radiopharmaceutical-facility-calgary\/","title":{"rendered":"Le gouvernement de l'Alberta s'engage \u00e0 verser $18 millions de dollars pour l'installation d'un cyclotron et d'une nouvelle installation radiopharmaceutique \u00e0 Calgary"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-7d46c01\" data-block-id=\"7d46c01\"><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\">New technology is coming to Calgary\u2019s healthcare infrastructure with the support of the Government of Alberta, committing more than $18 million over the next three years to begin building the first cyclotron in Calgary.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-2280191\" data-block-id=\"2280191\"><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\">\u201cThis will include a new radiopharmaceuticals facility which will create a special class of drugs that help diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions including cancer,\u201d said Tyler Shandro, Minister of Health, in a recent press conference.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-e695274\" data-block-id=\"e695274\"><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\">The facility is also expected to spark world-class research to discover innovative, next-gen radiopharmaceuticals and radiotracers that can provide medicine to targeted organs or parts of the body.
