Nous savons actuellement que le Prostate Cancer Centre et le SAIU sont exceptionnels dans les soins qu'ils apportent aux patients atteints de processus pathologiques qui refl\u00e8tent leur corps, mais qu'ils n'ont pas suffisamment bien pr\u00e9par\u00e9 leurs capacit\u00e9s mentales et leur aptitude \u00e0 se r\u00e9adapter ou \u00e0 se pr\u00e9parer \u00e0 la r\u00e9adaptation. Avec le soutien de la communaut\u00e9, nous esp\u00e9rons cr\u00e9er un v\u00e9ritable centre d'excellence pour la sant\u00e9 des hommes, qui s'appuiera sur ce que nous avons d\u00e9j\u00e0 fait. Nous \u00e9largirons les programmes pour faire en sorte que, lorsqu'un homme est atteint d'un cancer ou d'une maladie grave, les m\u00e9decins ne se contentent pas d'\u00e9liminer le cancer ou de traiter la maladie, mais veillent \u00e0 ce que tous les aspects du corps soient pris en charge. Lorsqu'un homme apprend qu'il est atteint d'un cancer, le stress est tr\u00e8s important et les maladies mentales ou les luttes mentales qui peuvent changer sa vie sont consid\u00e9rables. Ce que nous avons constat\u00e9, c'est que les patients ne savent souvent pas comment faire de l'exercice avant l'op\u00e9ration, ils pensent qu'ils le savent mais ils ne savent pas comment am\u00e9liorer leur forme a\u00e9robique et leur sant\u00e9. En cr\u00e9ant un centre de kin\u00e9siologie, nous esp\u00e9rons pouvoir leur apprendre \u00e0 faire de l'exercice, leur montrer comment faire de l'exercice au centre, puis ils peuvent rentrer chez eux et continuer \u00e0 le faire pendant plusieurs semaines avant leur op\u00e9ration.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-63fdb33\" data-block-id=\"63fdb33\"><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\">Au d\u00e9but de l'ann\u00e9e 2021, il est pr\u00e9vu de n\u00e9gocier un bail \u00e0 long terme acceptable avec les services de sant\u00e9 de l'Alberta pour ces 9 000 pieds carr\u00e9s. Nous formerons \u00e9galement un comit\u00e9 de d\u00e9veloppement qui sera responsable de la collecte de fonds pour les trois millions de dollars suppl\u00e9mentaires n\u00e9cessaires au cycle de vie de ce projet. Nous \u00e9valuerons \u00e9galement les co\u00fbts de construction, les besoins en personnel et commencerons imm\u00e9diatement nos recherches.
